House history research report
A comprehensive and fully-illustrated history of your house through the centuries.
Includes:
- A visit to your property to view the building, find out what you already know about it, and examine any deeds or other documents you may have that will aid the research.
- Original research into your property in archives, libraries and elsewhere where we consult a wide range of historical sources to search for information about your property and its former owners and occupiers. The amount of time we spend depends on your requirements and budget.
- Analysis and interpretation of our research data from which we create a historical chronology of your property.
- Designing and writing an interesting narrative history of your house documenting our findings, explaining the sources we have used and providing full references to source material.
All uniquely researched for your house, interpreted and explained, and presented in an attractive report illustrated with maps and documents found during our research. We can also provide electronic copies of our research results on request.

A wall display panel incorporating a selection of historical information about your house or workplace illustrated with copy documents. The panel can be ordered by itself or in conjunction with a house history research report. Historical Highlights are printed on 5mm foam board for wall display. Size 594 x 420mm (A2). Different colour options available.
Victorian View
An introductory house history report covering the Victorian period of 1837-1901 written and illustrated with copy documents. The report includes a description of your hamlet, village or town from a Victorian local directory; a Victorian map of your area; the tithe map and schedule for your house showing its owner and occupier c1840 (or enclosure award if the tithe is not available); and census returns from 1841-1901 providing details of families and individuals who lived in your house.
All uniquely researched for your house, interpreted and explained, and presented in an attractive report.
